Solution 1: Option (D) is correct. Note that the force between two magnets depends on the distance between them. Hence, the acceleration of magnet B is not constant. Also, its velocity is not constant.
Solution 2:
The paper pins are made of magnetic material. These pins become magnetized with south poles towards magnet A. Hence, option (A) is correct.
The resultant magnetic field at points between magnet A and the paper-pin box is due to the magnet A and the magnetized pins. The magnetic field increases due to the presence of the paper pin box. We encourage you to draw magnetic lines of force with and without the paper pin box. Option (C) is correct.
