Telescope- Opening Window to the Past: RBVRR Women's College

Ms Smita Fangaria of Amity International School delivered a talk on Story of Telescope-Opening Windows to the Past at RBVRR Women's College, Hyderabad. The event was held on 15th June 2019 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Nearly 45 BSc students and Physics faculty participated. Mrs P Shakuntala, Head of Physics Department provided necessary support at the college, Shri GLN Murthy and Jitender Singh of ViBha IAPT Anveshika helped in local coordination. The event was funfilled with stories, demonstrations and activities.

Ms Smita Fangaria is a Physics teacher in Amity International School, Noida. She is associated with Anveshika as a resource person and have taken workshops all across the country. Also she is the mentor of the NASA Space Settlement Contest for her school team for the past ten years and have taken school team to Kennedy Space Centre, Florida for international finals twice.

We thanks college mangament for supporting IAPT activities. This will definitely improve quality of Physics education in the country.
